Nært sort med beige skum. Aroma karamell vanilje lakris karamell. Smak karamell lakris vanilje melkesjokolade røsted malt. Kraftig og saftig. Soft malt. Godt øl. Delt med DjOeye. Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Jekta

En sykkeltur til Forus resulterte i et godt planlagt spontaninnkjøp på Vp Kvadrat, bl.a. denne. 0,33 flaske, brunsvart med kort bruseskum. O'boy sjokolademelk, sjokolademousse, marsipan, vanilje og kokos. En ølhunds alternativ til den uunngåelige påskemarsipanen, samtidig som den gir en følelse av velvære, men egentlig en nokså endimensjonal øl. Too much of a good thing doesn't always add up.

330ml bottle, batch 63, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Deep black-brownish body, dissipating tan-head, scattered lacing. Attractive aromas of okay chocolate. Powerful taste of chocolate malts and vanilla bourbon on a backbone of lactose. Roasted coffee beans to a long-lived and warming finish. Pleasant stuff with great evening sipper qualities. (St Patricks Day celebration at home, Tromsø 17.03.2020).

Rerate, 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Lyngdal. ABV is 10.5%. Black colour, no head. Minimal carbonation. Aroma and flavour as upon first sample. I'm keeping my original score. Original rating: Sample at Vectura-messe. Cloudy dark brown colour. Aroma of roast and sweet malts, coffee, bourbon and lactose. Sweet flavour with the same elements, but not convincing.
