33cl bottle bought at De Schans, ABV 8%. Hazy amberbrown colour, off-white head. Aroma of glue, alcohol, caramel. Flavour is sour, bitter, glue, alcohol, yeast and some caramel. Finish is sour/bitter, like cacao bitter . Mouthfeel varies from syrupy in texture to watery in flavour. Not very refined.

Bottled. Orangeish brown colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is spices, alcohol, really big malts and some slight fruits. Flavour is malty, slightly alcoholic and a bit metallic. Also a lot of spices.

(Bottle 30 cl) Hazy, almost opaque dark amber with a bubbly, off-white head - sadly dissipating in two secs. Lightly fusty and somewhat acidic nose. The body isn’t overly full considering the alcohol. Accents of caramel, dry sherry and some spices. I believe I detect the added orange peel, but it might be just my imagination. Almost no bitterness but a heavy yeast sediment. 190206

Bottle. Malty aroma with a nice yeasty hint. Muddy caramel colour, small light-coloured head. Malty, caramelly flavour, balanced by a tiny hint of acidity.

An unclear mud-brown beer with a collapsing orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of yeast, but also notes of caramel. The flavor is similar: sweet with loads of yeast, but also caramel, leading to a dry finish.
