@Frosty Beer, Tanjung Pandan, Belitung island, Indonesia. Regular lager, pale golden, fair frothy white head, grainy aroma, light floral hops. Bit more hops than the Royal Dutch I tasted before. Also not that good and neiter that bad. You have to consider the circumstances and therefore a satisfying brew.

Fles geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een goudgeel bier met een wit schuim. Moutig in de mond en neus.

Can from Trade Joe's. Pours clear golden with large foamy off-white head, mildly yeasty malt aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish malty taste with faint honey aroma, smooth body, abrupt finish. Smooth but not crisp as a good Pilsner.

$1.17 pint can from Trader Joe's. Pours clear golden with a soft white head. Aroma is Fritos (slight sweet corn). Flavor is cardboard, unsalted corn chips, light grass, hose water. Drinkable, but not enjoyable in the slightest.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Trader Joe's. Appearance is mostly clear (fine white particulates) yellow-orange with greenish tinge, nice sparkle, 1/2-finger width fizzy white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is fruity (almost a blueberry quality), cardboard, pilsner malts, musty. Taste is fruit/berry, cracker. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, lively carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, an interesting fruity quality for the style makes it slightly intriguing.

From Aug 2007

Purchased as part of a mixed 6Pack at Wilbur's Liquors in Ft Collins.

Pours from 12oz bottle a clear medium gold with a good head of foam that stays around for a while and then shrinks to a fine broken layer with some lacing.

The smell is on the hoppy side but really does have the nose of a typical Euro Lager.

The taste up front has some decent hop character...not citrusy, maybe a touch of grass. The malty side moves in rather weakly about midway through and it finishes fairly dry but kind of watery. The more sips I take, the less "interesting" it becomes. Nothing special here and is really only useful for the sake of trying it and reviewing it.

Can: Clear, darker gold with a white head. Corn, barley scent. Taste is lightly sweet barley malt, corn.... a minor bit of straw-like bittering. Inoffensive, nothing off......very decent, overall.
