Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, notes of chocolate, a touch of roast and brown sugar, raisins. Flavour is above medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Nicely chocolate-y, good Doppelbock!

Tap at Noord-Hollands Bierfestival, Alkmaar: Dark brown coloured brew with good sweet caramelish taste, quite good Bock.

Draught. Amber colour with a mediumsized creamy slightly off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet caramel with some slight spiciness, chocolate and mild dried fruits. Flavour is sweet malts, some alcohol, a bit spiciness with some berries and mild toffee.

Fles 33cl thuis. Flink zoet, caramel, wat kruidig, maltig, klein bittertje, wat oily. (2-2-2020).

Bottle. dark brown color. Milk chocolate, caramel in the somewhat nutty aroma. Malty sweetish, soft roasty flavor with caramel and milk chocolate. Medium to full bodied. Well made doppelbock with some warming alcohol.

Shared 330 ml bottle. Cloudy brown colour, off-white head. Very malty aroma, loads of caramel and molasses, hints of oak. Malty flavour too, again notes of molasses, hints of oak.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Sigmund´s 24.02.17. Copper. Beige head. Fine aroma and taste of bock beer and caramel. Well-balanced. Good drinkability!

Flaske delt på RBHD-treff hos Sigmund feb-17: klar og mørk rødgylden rav med kort skum. Deilig bock-aroma og smak med karamell, karamell, høstblomster og milde urter. Nydelig ettersmak, dette er snop og meget lettdrikkelig.

Tap at Taproom. Clear mahogany with beige head. Sweet malts, light milk chocolate, dates, light roasted malts, vanilla, toffee. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Nice!

Tap at Taprroom during pubcrawl. Clear dark brown with light tan head. Sweet roasted chocolate malts, bitter brown leaves, cola nut, syrup. Medium sweet and bitter.
