Dorée sur un léger pâle, col blanc.
Arôme garde une approche très belge - finement rustique, légers esters, fleuri sur le noble avec une petite note rappelant les fleurs de jasmin. Petite pointe de levure en rétro-nasal.
Palais sur un caractère belge, malt pils, léger sur la levure avec qcq pointes d'esters. Houblonné noble, entre fleuri et léger terreux, petite note épicée des grains avec un effet concassé.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Rather weak, mildly funky, yeasty spicy and minimally grassy hoppy, minimally bready, wheaty malty and minimally yeasty fruity aroma, hints of mustard seed, hay, clove, caraway, a touch of pear, white and grey bread. Taste is yeasty spicy, slightly funky yeasty, minimally tangy, minimally fruity, slightly bready, wheaty malty, hints of grey bread, white bread crust, a touch of mustard seed, brine, caraway. Minimally oily, watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, minimally prickly carbonation. Quite spicy, not really easily accessible - OK.

Sampled from the tap at Cocovail Beer Hall. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a pear hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has light fruits and apple with a bit of flora and sweet grains underlying. Flavor has sweet apple and light coriander with some flora and a sweet grain backbone.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Sweetish, bit spicy Saison yeast. Taste: Moderate to medium sweet, dense mouthfeel, very lightly sour on the background and light to moderate bitter. Spicy and herbal Saison yeast. Medium body, below average carbonation. Smooth. Very different from most other La Calavera's I've tasted. No typical La Calavera sourness. No skulls om the label but Japanese-like nature with birds and a fogged bridge. Nice to notice that La Calavera also makes this kind of beers. Nice Saison, although not that special for this beerstyle.
