Two hand-pulled half-pints in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury on 8th Dec 2014. Gold body below a thin wispy white head. Citrus fruit aromas fight it out with a sweet caramel malt base and just about win. The same battle in the taste, again with the citrus flavours overcoming the maltiness. Hides the 5.8% ABV very nicely: really enjoyed both my halves.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a thin head. Has a light hoppiness and a very drinkable texture given its strength, although this is more noticeable in its aftertaste.
