Born from a conversation between a chocolatier, lee from pure origin chocolate and ourselves we embarked on creating a chocolate stout.

0.5L, 4.9%, zwart met fijne maar iets beperkte kaki kraag. aroma van mout, zoet, melk chocolade, koffie, geroosterde mout, smaken zijn wat aan de dunne kant qua textuur echter zit er genoeg smaak in van koffie, melkchocolade, zwak bitter, zwak zoet, glad, geroosterde mout, licht zuur, zwakke body, lage co2.

Bottle. Frothy off-white fair mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter roasted flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

50cl bottle. Pours a very dark brown, with a lively head that disappears completely quite quickly. Smells of roasted malts, smoke, dark cherries. Tastes like smoked wood, roasted malts, dark cherries and bitter dark chocolate. High carbonation, fizzy mouthfeel with a bitter-sweet finish.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of light chocolate, hazelnuts. Taste is more of the same. Bit thin on the finish.

Cask at the Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Black pour with a beige head. Aromas of chocolate malt and licorice toffee. Flavours of chocolate ice cream, vanilla with a light coffee approach. Dry finish. Good.
