Tap. Craft Beer Corner, Cologne. Clear dark gold. Decent dense white foam. Smoke comes across savoury and cheesy. Taste is sweet and also cheesy. Some light bitterness. Drinks easy overall. Nice Rauch.

500mL bottle, pours a clear copper golden with a large white head. Aroma has very mild campfire smokiness, with a soft biscuity malt underneath. Flavour is similar, with extremely mild smokiness, sweet cereal malt, and straw. Carbonation seems higher than average. Timid rauch but clean and pleasant.

Cask at Zum Fransiscaner in Stockholm. Firm lasting white head. Opaque solid yellow color.
A firm smoke aroma that resembles wurst smoke.
Well fermented to give a dry finish.
Balanced bitterness and light malty and yi y smoke in the taste.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Rich smoked pale malt with grain, bacon, campfire. Moderate sweet, light to mild bitter. Medium body. Smokey bliss, high drinkability.

Be.Re cask, 5/13/24. Clear, honey-copper. Small, white head, steadily to edge. Noticeable but not heavy smoke. Some wood, honey-like malt. Seems clean. Is there a bit of butter here? I think there is some Diacetyl, though it's hardly problematic. Clean malts, a bit doughy, lightly sweet. Gentle smokiness. Light, peppery bitterness on the finish. Rather rough around the edges but has some charm for sure. This isn't very cask-like though. Carbonation isn't very fine.

A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of aromatic smoked malt, bacon, caramel. Taste of bacon, toasted malt, moderate bitterness.
