Draught @ Eichhorn, Dörfleins. Pours hazy Golden yellow with a staying White head. Beech Wood, grains, grass and bread. Dry, sticky and crisp. Quite hoppy and the Wood lingers long.. Nice

Eichhorn Rauchbier, 5,3 %, Flasche von Aquatron, BA. - Orangegold, leicht hefetrüb. - In der Nase mildes Rauchmalz (Schinkenspeck), eingehüllt in sattes helles Malz von warmer Karamelsüße und leichte aber aromatische herbal-zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk satt toastig-karamelmalzig mit Toffee, Trockenaprikosen und einer dezenten Rauchnote, die sich an der satten Bonbonsüße reibt. Frische herbale Hopfung, ein wenig Orangenschale. Etwas zu stark rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang nur schwache Rauchigkeit und feine fränkische Hopfenherbe. - Ein helles Märzen mit fetter, schon bockähnlicher Malzsüße aber nur milder Rauchigkeit, recht angenehm. (24.4.2021.)

ABV: 5.1%. Clear medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, smoke, meat, light grain. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, smoke, meat, pale malt, sweet malt, light grain, light floral, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201122]

On tap at Elementare. Cloudy orange with medium white head. Light smoke, cheese, very weird, something went wrong but can’t put my finger on it. Maybe some vegetables? Sweet. Moderate carbonation. Medium bodied.

Bottle picked up at HopDog München had this in a Zoom tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig and Stella, Sunday 22nd November 2020. Pours light gold, light smokiness, this is good, nice softness, really, really pleasant beer.

On tap @Elementare in Rome-Italy. Amber-orange unclear pour with an irregular off-white foam. Nose: smoked cheese, straw. Mouth: crackers, mild smoky, cheese, light maltiness, very clean.

Bottle at HopDog. Light hazy golden, eggshell head. Heavy fish and pork smoke, honey caramel, deep umami, smoked fish, seaweed, toasted caramel. Adventures and n malt, nice!

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Dorata, velata, schiuma bianca media, molto persistente. Al naso note di caramello bruciato, pasta lievita, affumicato medio. In bocca ha un attacco mediamente dolce con chiusura amara media, leggero affumicato nel retrolfattivo. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Ok.
