Our first barrel aged kriek (2018) is blended with a kriek from 2019 that has been a year on barrel. This cherry lambic blend has subsequently been macerated with autumn raspberries. Just before bottling, we added 10% elderflower lambic. This also gave the blend a floral touch. This in addition to the fruitiness and light tannins (seeds and barrel aging) of the cherry & the fruitiness of the raspberries. These also provide the acids in collaboration with the old lambic.
For the name of this beer we refer to the 4 seasons, not the hotel chain ?. Lambic is brewed in the winter, elderflower appears on the trees in the spring, cherries are at their best in the summer months and the last season we have the autumn raspberries, which, unlike the summer raspberries, has an annual plant growth.

Bottle shared at RBBWG 2023. Dark copper color, no head. Aroma and flavor are sourish, unripe fruit, fruitpeel. Solid though. But you've gotta stand sourness.

Pours clear, darker amberred. Small - no white head. Scent is harsh, twigs, cherry, very green and herbal, underripe fruits. Taste is sharp, intensely tart - bith by the lambic and the seemingly underripe fruit, very green and herbal. Not very balanced, nor do I really enjoy the fruityness in this one. Slightly too acetic. Harsh.

9/XII/23 - 75cl bottle, shared @ BBGG winter 23-24, BB: +5Y, bottled: 10/VII/20, lot: 2018FOSE (2023-1160)
Clear reddish beer, small creamy off-white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, berries, funky, a bit earthy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty acidic, quite some vinegar, very sour, a little bitter, earthy, weird. Aftertaste: very sourish, acidic, fruity, some berries, gooseberries, blackberries, rather unpleasant, don’t like it very much.

Bottled 10/07/2020. Dark red, light carbonation. Nicely sour. Dry, woody, and funky, and a great amount of fruit. Raspberry and cherry are there, without being too sharp, and the elderflower gives something light and floral. Very tasty stuff.

0,75l bottle at Saeglopurs, shared by me. Vintage 2018. purple hazy color, small pink head. smells super unique, flowery, elder flowery, cherries, raspberry, heavy spices, some curcuma, subtle currant notes. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of sour cherries, marzipan, some elder flowers, heavy spices, curcuma, rasbperry, bit herbal, stone fruits. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of curcuma, elder flowers and some cherry notes. very unique beer, heavy on the spices, the fruits and flowers blend together very well, nothing sticks out too much for me, very nice stuff.

Heavy raspberry and elderflower character. Quite acidic. Lovely beer but I think I preferred the Three Seasons. The raspberries come on a bit too strong for me and overwhelms the sour cherries.
