Can from the Jumbo, Loosduinen. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a short-lived fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is cardboard malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, watery, floral woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Pretty awful. Can’t believe anyone would call this their favourite.

Huge, dense white head over pale metallic golden beer, big-bubbled. Very heavy sulphur nose, even rotten eggs, volatile to a certain extent. Dry pale malts, with a marked acidity, mainly from the carbonation. Not much else, but for a background (malt)sweetness. Very carbonated, light body, watery. Hopeless lager.

0.5 l can, best before 7/2016 (got it for free btw). Clear, very pale straw yellow with a medium large, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, musty-multy aroma of sweet grains and hay. Sweetish, musty-malty taste of hay and sweet grains, followed by a slightly bitter finish. Thin body, watery mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Not just boring bad rather bad, didn’t enjoy it at all.

Commissioned standard lager distributed in supermarkets. Snow white, thin, loose head quickly reduced to a narrow ring on the edge of the glass, colour of ’old gold’, bright with little sparkling. Sweetish pale malts, corn, very brief, floral hop bitterishness in the finish but only subtly so. Equal in boredom to Bavaria’s own standard lager.
