Foeder-aged American wild ale with cucumber

Flavorful, effervescent, crisp, cool— we can’t come up with enough adjectives to talk about this beer. Frucht: Cucumber gains complexity and funk from time spent in our 250 bbl oak foeders. Our Bruers added fresh cucumbers to add coolness, which balances the natural tartness. We proudly never kettle sour so you can better enjoy all the funky, wild character native to the style.

From tap at Van Moll Fest 2019. Aroma is lots of cucumber with sour pickles, rather sour, some lacto, puckering, light and refreshing. Massive amounts of cucumber, nice sour flavour, cucumber is quite in your face. Onedimensional, but kinda fun.

5.1%. 16oz can. Rather intensely sour. Pickle-like salty cucumber tones. Probably best shared between a few people, as the sourness and overall flavor aren't super drinkable. Tasty, but a little too intense for its own good.

Cloudy gold with a small white head. Caramel and light malts. Soured cucumber with a nice tartness. Solid.

Pours an unclear blonde. Scent is strong, cucumber indeed. Taste is intensely (too intense) tart, pure lactic acid (no sign of the brett) as well as a very strong cucumber aroma. Dry finish. Harsh. Not what a berliner weisse should be about at all, in terms of sourness.

Pours hazy golden with a short lasting white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cucumber, tart, citrus and hint of vinegar. Taste is light sweet and heavy sour with a long tart, dry and cucumber finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
