Foeder-aged American wild ale with cucumber

Flavorful, effervescent, crisp, cool— we can’t come up with enough adjectives to talk about this beer. Frucht: Cucumber gains complexity and funk from time spent in our 250 bbl oak foeders. Our Bruers added fresh cucumbers to add coolness, which balances the natural tartness. We proudly never kettle sour so you can better enjoy all the funky, wild character native to the style.

On tap at 100 pív I'm not huge fan of cucumber but this is very nice and refreshing. Quite high sourness, light cucumber line. Tasty.

Tap at Beer Stars 2/2020. Mostly sour, med-high sourness, crossing over to tartness. Lots of lacto, even yogurty cheesy character. However the star here is cucumber, lots of it. It dominates the character. Slightly too sour and feels a bit watery, simple. Could use more complexity. Still a good one.

Cucumber and lots of lime. Extremely sour. Pours hazy orange without much head. Way too acidic for my liking. Can thanks to Donnie.

Sampled from the tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a hazy earthy yellow with a slight peach hue and a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has tart lemon and a bit of cucumber with a touch of light wheat underlying. Flavor combines cucumber and tart and acidic lemon with some light wheat backing.
