Can via Beer 52 sub August 2020. Pours clear gold with white foam. Aroma: grains, citrus, grapefruit, grass. Taste light to moderate sweet & bitter, quite watery. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Not great, but then again it was brewed to a Beer 52 budget so I shouldn't be surprised.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 28/03/21. Clear golden with a decent white cap. Nose is mellow orange, grass, toasted malts. Taste comprises pale malts, apple notes, grass, light citric zest, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with modest leafy hop bitterness. Boring ... why I never purchase from Beer 52.

31/3/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG cheers. Pours clear golden with with a bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, grass, grapefruit, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, quite fizzy. Not great. Glen Affric can do better than this. Ditto Colin re B52. Plus SHIG shares.

Lightly hazed deep gold with a swiftly vanishing white head and a middling fizz. The hops smell fresh, but there's not enough of them. There's a bit of lemon and lime, some grape skins and a wisp of white pepper. It's watery and frankly a bit insipid. It's disappointing, and all the more so because what I thought would be a rare Merseyside rate and a new brewer to boot instead turned out to be another contract brew attributed to Scotland. Bah.

Minimal off white head on an unclear amber body. Stone fruit aroma. Medium bodied, lively on the tongue with a soft back. Stone fruit, pale malt & chalk tastes. Boring.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; grainy aroma; sweet grainy body with a touch of lemon; and a grassy bitterness. Underwhelming.
