On tap at Lowlander taproom, Amsterdam, Saturday 10th January 2026, after a treacherous walk from the Buiksloterweg boat mooring. Pours light/mid gold with a large white head. Clean fresh, crisp, a little lemony, not bad at all. Score 7.0

Can from a local bottle shop. Aroma is grassy noble hop with grainy malt and a touch of lemongrass. Moderate bitter flavour with an appropriately dry finish. Light to medium body. Nicely crisp Pilsner, I'd pick up a six-pack of this.

Fast gone white head over clear golden beer. Pale malts, rather perfumey, sweetcorn, faintly almondy. Bitterish flavour with something as ink, galls. Gradually a more or less citrussy flavour arrives - the sereh, no doubt. Sweetness revealed underneath, malty. Hay retronasal. Just too sweet-slick for being refreshing. Low bodied and not very carbonated. Ho-hum. Txs to Stef!

Can. Clear golden, big white head. Quite some grassy hops with soft lime zest, light caramel malts. Don’t get much lemongrass but it’s a nice crisp hoppy pilsener with decent bitterness.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Fresh aroma, hoppy - can I detect the lemongrass? I'm not sure. Medium body, initially quite malty sweet, but an astringent bitterness son takes over - like the whites in grapefruit. Gets a little much. 100123

Tap. Clear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is lemongrass, earthy, grainy. Taste is the same, a bit too bready and earthy. A bit oily, natural carbonation.
