(Bottle, 0.5 l - batch 0041 - bottled on Nov 13 - BBE Nov 14, at Black Door, 20140117) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had earth, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A very nice brew showing the more unusual hop charcteristics.

Bottle, Ship in a Bottle, West Kirby. Hazy amber looks with a reserved white head. Malty/fruity nose. Earthy hop led flavour with notes of fruit, spice and caramel. Dry bitter finish. Slightly rustic bitterness, but a palatable offering overall.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is sweet citrus fruit and grassy hops. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a grassy spicy pepper palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. A really superb IPA.

Bottle at The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Amber slightly hazy. Lasting beige head. Hops are ok but a bit too much nettle. Tasty full ipa. It got better as it went on. Just some vegetal character I am not keen on.
