A prodigious West Coast IPA, retaining delectable drinkability. A consciously subded malt base allows pronounced citrus, piney, resinous hop aroma to dazzle, before a clean, dry finish.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 8 Aug 2025) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grass, herbal hops, a touch of resin and lemon peel. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, lemon peel, grass, wheat crackers, pine needles, resin, and a balanced citric/floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Hoppy, bitter and well made WCIPA. Very nice.

Can at home picked up from Asda. A clear golden coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is nice earthy grains, lemon rind,, bready, tangerine,, mild tropical notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bready grains, light hay, mixed citrus, melon balls, pine, little dirty hop in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, light grains, moderate carbonation. Solid for a supermarche job.

330ml can. Clear gold with small white head, spotted retention. Aroma of pine, resinous hops, citrus and spice. Flavour is the same but you can really taste the different elements. Nice finish helped by a good bitterness and spiky mid-level carbonation. Slick medium body. Well brewed and enjoyable.

Good pour and a glorious appearance in the glass. The taste and mouthfeel were all rich and smooth hops, and it was just a pleasure to drink.

Can from Morrisons. Golden orange pour with a fluffy white head. Nose is lemon marmalade, pine, lime, white grape. Taste is gooseberry, lychee, white grape, grapefruit, more lemon marmalade. Most certainly a piney resinous concoction. Spicy hoppy mouthfeel with an assertive bitterness coming through in the aftertaste.
