Cask at the brewery, Ludlow. Pours orange brown with a small head. Aroma is toffee and spiced fruit cake. Taste is bready with dried fruits and vanilla.

11/2/2019. Bottle from Tuffins Supermarket, Craven Arms. Poured amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hops, fruit and nut. Medium sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Tuffins, Craven Arms. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, fruits and hops. Sweet finish.

Has a very minimal aroma. OKay appearance, dark brown, some head. Flavour is soft nut, some malt. Good on the mouth. Just okay, really - and rating 2300 on such an average brew!!!

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/1/2016. Amber with a decent, off-white head. Malty beer, with a slightly earthy edge, some hedgerow fruits and a decent, bitter finish. Good.

Bottle from Appleyards Deli. Appearance - golden amber with a decent thin head. Nose - light biscuits, orange. Taste - more orange biscuits. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - solid if unexciting.
