50cl bottle cortesy of and shared with JMGreenUK. Thin white head. Clear golden pour. Nice quaffable beer with a subtle bitterness

Cask @ GBBF 2013. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak grainy caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with weak hoppy hints.

Cask at the Grape Vaults, Leominster on 6th April 2013. Gold with thin dying white head. Rich nutty, yeasty aroma with maltiness. Rounded hoppiness, malt and nuts in mouth. Bittersweet finish. Pleasant all-rounder.

From cask. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light herbal hoppy. Bitter, mild citrusy and toasted malty. Bitter and citrusy into the far finish.

Brown 500ml bottle, best before the end of Dec 2010, drank and reviewed on 26 Oct 2010. Poured into an ’Abbot Ale’ tankard, my current tasting glass. True to its name the beer had a golden and bright body, on top a pure white head of bubbles. Plenty of carbonisation, could clearly see bubbles rising through the body and leaving the sides of the glass. Asked to be served cold on the bottle (between 10-12 C), I dutifully did so, but it hampered the smell somewhat to me. Only a mild, light malt and hop mix could I find in the nose. The aromas didn’t expand as the beer warmed either, so maybe the temp made no difference anyway? The taste was also a mix of light malts and hops, a pleasant mix mind. The beer became more bitter in the aftertaste as the mouth dried, but the hop content wasn’t a huge amount, just enough to stop the beer being classed as sweet. Typical UK Pale Ale, flavoursome and easy to drink. I hope this small craft beer producing brewery grows from strenght to strenght and if all their produts are as good as this they should do so!

Cask at the Shovel, Lye. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is light citrus and a little butter. Taste has light grass to start and a buscuity medium bitter finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Malvern Hills Hotel, British Camp, Worcs 07/09/10. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity malt aroma with some floral hops. Flavour was also fruity, with some apricot, citrus hop and decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, moderate butter. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is flowery hops with lots of nectary hints. Flavour is the same, and finish gets really bitter. Sticky palate.
