Draft at the source. Clearish golden color white head. Nice balance of sweet caramel and hoppy bitterness, gors down easy for its strength

Draught at Tuscon Airport location, 2/14/22. Clear, dark amber-to-light-mahogany. Medium-sized, well-retained, dark beige head. Fruity and full of caramel, toffee and raisin with a hint of melanoidin-like acidity and lingering clean, mineral-laden yeast. Rich and malty, sweet but well-attenuated with tons of red fruit, caramel, maple and honey cream. Not massively complex, but super soft, very well-brewed (texture, attenuation, cleanliness, head retention, etc). Not my favorite style by a long shot but have to respect how well-done this is.

4 oz. sample at the source.Almost clear amber. Aroma is caramel, burnt toffee, sugar. Flavor is a reflection of the aroma. The alcohol is mostly hidden. Maybe a touch of fruit in the finish.

On tap at Thunder Canyon, pours a cloudy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a touch of the candied sugar. Flavour brings out more of the candied sugar, followed by caramel and bready malt. Not the most dynamic or complex beer, but it works reasonably.

8%.A reddish copper ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with candy sugar, dark fruits, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light candy sugar, and warming alcohol, very simple. On tap at Broadway location.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Sweet caramellish nose with a perfumy touch. Quite a rich body, heavy caramel and toffee, very malty indeed, again this lightly perfumy touch. A pleasant warming alcohol. Appears rather strong - and to me more a British Strong or Scottish Ale tha a Belgian Ale. But nice and enjoyable. 110113
