Aroma and flavor have licorice and cinnamon. Sweetish with chocolate. A slight milky sourness comes up as the beers warmens. Re-rate Duutch Ratebeer meeting: Yeast and cherry aroma. Vinous flavor with rosebuds, a hint of pepper, cinnamon, licorice and malt.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours cloudy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild rubber, plastic and vague smoked. Smoked, mild meat and slight acidic. Vague caramelish note. Lingering dark malty and subdued smoked.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Roasted malt and caramel in the nose combined with some smoke as well. Medium body, sweet caramel and again a distinct smokiness - Bamberg style. Discreetly bitter. The smoke seem intended and I guess this really should be categorized as a Smoked. 230310

Bottle, 5.8%. Gusher though quite cold. Almost clear dark copper colour. Very big, stable tan head. Fruity, soapy aroma. The flavour is malty with nice aroma hops and a hint of smoke. The aroma hops are soapy and perfumy, not good in the aroma, but OK in the flavour. Good mouthfeel.

The beer is very lively. The aroma is lovely of strawberries, hops, and oranges. The color is an unclear red and it has no head. The flavor is a light strawberry that turns slightly bitter in the end with strawberries and a dryness that lingers.
