Large bottle consumed on my daughters balcony in Newport Beach on 12th March 2014. Light amber colour with a good, lasting crown of bubbles. The aroma was of mild hop notes and light maltiness, the taste more subtle than robust, and again a gentle blend of hop and malts. fairly smooth feel to the whole thing and I preferred it to most of ’the in your face’ over hopped brews that seem to be the norm in California.

Bottle from thirdeye11. Pours with a clear golden body and a white head. Aroma of hops, honey and a bit of sourness. Taste is tea, sour and not a pale ale. Another bad beer from Bayhawk. Fizzy and dry.

22oz bottle-pours a retaining white head and hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma is bready/caramel light malt, some sour fruit, yeast. Taste is bitter/metallic hops, sour lemon, light malt. Perhaps out of date. Thanks jwc215 for sharing this one.

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is slightly acidic with notes of fruit. The flavor is both sweet and acidic with notes of fruits - especially peaches as well as dusty hops, citrus, and pineneedles. The body is thin. Seemed off.

Bomber. Foam crawled out of the bottle; rocky four finger head; medium gold color. Nice, not over the top, hoppy aroma like floral backed by citrus. Less than medium body with near creamy carbonation. Light citric sour over bread and maybe pine hop. Rather pleasant APA. Finish is fairly dry, but there’s a balancing touch of sweet hiding in the hop. Not strongly bitter, but good bitter.

Clear golden coloured body with a light copper hue. Light white head tops the beer gingerly and steady streams of fine bubbles rise from the botom constantly. Aroma of light citrus, good hops, pale malt and a light amount of sugars. Medium-bodied; Sharp hoppy flavour with a good malt backbone and a small amount of subtle citrus and pomme fruits throughout. Aftertaste shows a bit of the sweetness and some of the hops too. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in La Jolla, California on 03-December-2005.

Big bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a huge frothy off white head that diminishes quickly leaving behind a look of shaving cream on top. The aroma is a strong citrus and grass. Good lacing on the glass. The taste is very bitter leaving a bad sour aftertaste. Not much going on with this one.

From bottle, no 3 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours hazy orange and with a white collapsing head. Grapefruit aroma, slight sweet. Flavour is slight acidic to citric, has a slight note of grapefruit. Ends with a solid grapefruit note lingering together with a slight infection.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of KAggie97. Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head leaving some laces. Tart aroma. Fairly light in body with a limited malt base and a piney touch. But everything is really buried underneath a distinct sourness. Some bitterness in the finish. This clearly was infected and could need a rerate one day. 301107
