Biertype: Een blonde tripel. Gebrouwen met een klein beetje tarwemout.
Hopsoorten: Saaz en Challenger, het bekende koppel.

ceramic 0.5l bottle. mht 2009. clear orange, small smooth white head. spicy barley wineish aroma. quite boozy. mouthfeel appears rather flat. cellary note. sweet malts dominate, also some spices. pretty weird brew. Not at all oxidized even though a little old, but slightly mouldy and cellary instead. or is it the spices?

Very pale golden beer; medium to good white head, bit fluffy. End of bottle fully cloudy. Bit astringent nose, spicy, some citrus. Cannot place the spices; malty finish. Sweet-spicy taste, somehow at odds with the smell. I would hazard coriander, seen the vague citrussy flavour. Like a spicy, sweet tripel. Retronasal something like aniseed. Pretty spritzy MF, medium bodied. Unconvincing.

Bottle 30 cl. Now simply called "Oijen Winterbier". Pours a cloudy and opaque pale golden with a white head. Tart citrusy nose with some yeast. Quite full-bodied with plenty of fruit and citrus with a yeasty edge and an astringent and bitter finish. 200209

30 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Mild spiced and slight yeasty aroma. Herbal and mild sweet malty from back of the nose. Somewhat cheesy. Strange and slight herbal aroma and flavour.

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet with spicy notes of coriander, combined with notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet wheat, combined with notes of lemon and cardboard, and some spices.

Bottle at WBF ’09 Gouda. Clear golden yellow, white head. Aroma of cooked vegetables, fruits, alcohol and grain. Flavour was much the same. Tasted much like a European Strong Lager actually. And not a good one.

Bottle, 9%. Quite fruity aroma, some citrus fruit notes, hint of spice. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off fruity with some wet cardboard, mild vegetable note. Quite rough bitterness, but not so high. Alcoholic aftertaste, finishing quite dry.
