Colossal creek is an experimental high ABV Berliner Weisse. We took our 'Curious Creek' recipe and tripled everything. Three times the grist, three times the ABV and three times the amount of fruit. Re-fermented on nearly 3/4 Tonne of Raspberries and cherries this beer is fruity, tart and full on.

Pours clear, amberred. Small ring of white head. Scent is full, raspberry up front, but not very balanced or interesting. Taste is mostly lactic acid, amped up maltyness. Raspberry puree. Pretty straight forward. Lacks complexity, lacks interesting features. Again, too much alcohol for what it is.

Niet zelf gekocht. Aardig fruitsmaakje. Coolbest Strawberry Hill maar dan iets zuurder.

440ml can. Pours bright red with a thin head. Aroma is sweet cherries and a little vodkary alcohol. Taste is sweet to start with very sour cherries on the finish and some raspberries on the aftertaste.

Can from the Wander Beyond Online Store. Deep red pour with a pink head. Nose is morello cherries, raspberry jam, red plums. Flavours of raspberry jam, cherry liqueur, strawberries, cranberries. Tart tangy red berry action. Mouth puckering sweet 'n' sour finish. Nice.

Hazy ruby pour with a thin pink head. Huge raspberry notes, followed by some lactose and just raspberries overall. Good stuff,

Flat, no head. Nose is sour cherries with some red berries. Lots of sour cherry, sour and tart, red raspberries in the back. Not very sweet, strong and alcoholic. Very nice.

Canned 17.07.19. More WB, but this one is actually pretty normal. Nicely sour, loads of fruit but definitely a regular beer. Of sorts. Puckering, plenty cherry and jammy raspberry. Some sweetness but first and foremost sour. Clearly a bit stronger. Nice.
