27/11/2021. Bottle from Boris, cheers! Shared with ITFCfan/Dan. Pours clear bright amber red with a small frothy off-white head. Nice looking beer. Aroma of malt, toffee, molasses, dried fruit, winter spice. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite liked this.

500ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally toasty, malty and slightly spicy aroma, hints of cinnamon, caramel, nutty overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally spicy and fruity, hints of cinnamon, a touch of plum and orange peel; minimally soapy finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Very cautious, lacks intensity - OK.

Dunkler, mild gewürziger Beginn. Milde süffige Malzigkeit, eher trocken, geringfügig gewürzig. Mittellanger, dunkel karamelliger Abgang, die Trockenheit stört. Okay. 10/9/11/10/9/10
