One of our core range. A rich and luxurious Stout; dark chocolate and coffee flavours with a great mouth feel. Also available as a bottle conditioned beer.

Hand pulled half pint at the Pheasant Inn & Brewhouse on 3rd May 2025. Black bodied, beige head. Standard Stout aroma and taste, traces of both chocolate and coffee within the malty nose and flavour. Dry finish.

Bottle from Craft & Berry. Appearance - lively and almost gushing. Dark brown with a tan head. Nose - blackberry and tar. Blackcurrant and menthol too. Taste - smoke, tar and unfortunately sherbet. Seems like a wild yeast infection. Or ot could just be a lot of very dry malt in the recipe. Either way, the taste is not as enchanting as the nose. Palate - light to medium bodied then beeybdry through middle and finish. Overall - a bit strange.

50cl bottle from the brewpub. Very thick beige head. Clear almost black pour. A little sour. Not their best beer

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark amber-brown with a head. Has a grittier dark malty taste, although not that flavoursome, nor that stout-like.
