Brandy Land is a cinnamon-infused, double-mashed imperial stout that slumbered 12 to 24 months in casks that held bourbon and apple brandy. Boasting notes of chocolate, espresso, baked apple and spiced wood, Brandy Land’s delectable blend ends with a warm, lingering finish.

Bottle picked up from probably Beer Republic or another Dutch beer website, consumed at home Friday 31st January 2025 listening to Afrodeutsche on 6Music. We cooked a large Lasagna and also Cannelloni (which we had tonight). Pours almost black in colour with a rapidly disappear head that left a few light beige filmy islands atop. Typical apple spices on the nose, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Draft. A- Brandy, cinnamon, caramel, mild oak. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Cinnamon, brandy, caramel, malt, subtle oak, boozy. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- A full bodied beer but it doesn't bring a ton of heat. The brandy is clearly the superstar here with loads of cinnamon involved. This was easy to drink. Enjoyed it quite a lot. Tasted more like a strong ale than a stout.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown with little head. Aromas of raisin bread, including the cinnamon, plus toasty malts. Rich flavors follow same with syrupy apples and nice soft brandy and old oak. Wow, this is great stuff.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is loaded with raisins, brandy and cinnamon - very complex. Flavour is loaded with rich cinnamon and raisins upfront, with tons of brandy barrels and molasses. Rich, yet unabrasive. Excellent.

Bottle - this is one of those beers that is just way more than the sum of its parts - the dark malt, apple brandy, oak, and bourbon come together in the nose in a way the evokes cherry cordials and liqueur-infused chocolates - low carbonation and full mouthfeel - flavor is certainly warming - bourbon-soaked cherries, brandy, charred oak, dark chocolate - sweet, but tempered by a light tartness and acidity reminiscent of dark fruit skins - this is a great warming holiday sipper - a spendy four pack, but given that it works out to four bucks a bottle, and most breweries these days would have the audacity to charge ten bucks a bottle for such a beer, I consider this a deal - I certainly hope this become a seasonal regular.
