Can from Brygshoppen. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, lots of bitter hops, coffee, chocolate and has a nice long bitter finish. Yummy.

33cl can. A veryk dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of roasted dark malt, coffee and bitter hops. Taste of dark malt, coffee, ash, strong bitter hops.

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

ABV: 8.5%. Cloudy medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, wood, light pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, dark malt, roasted, grapefruit - wood - licorice, hops bitter, light pine, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20210619]

Can. Brown pour. Aroma of peach, orange, citrus, chocolate, licorice, caramel and pineapple. Taste has bitter orange, peach, citrus, chocolate, grapefruit, licorice, soft roasted malt, caramel and some coffee. Very nice, has characteristics of both stout and ipa, as it should be. Nicely bitter as well.

33cl Blik van Bierwinkel Alkmaar. Zwart, beige kraag. Aroma van tabak, hars, grapefruit, caramel, gebrande mout, wat chocolade. Smaak is redelijk zoet, brownie, koffie, tabak, dennen, hars, caramel, bittere finish. Medium body. Degelijke BIPA.
