A golden beer that is brewed using local Staffordshire honey. The sweet taste is balanced by an abundance of hops to give a spicy hoppy aroma.

Cask at Slaters Bar, Stafford Pours a lemon yellow, which is slow to clear (but does eventually) and a tight white head. A strong aroma of honey in the nose, and the mouth is dominated by honey as well, although there are hints of malt and caramel as well. Finish is earthy with golden syrup. An OK beer, but would probably be better off without so much honey.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - floral and earthy honey (almost a little dirty, in fact ). Some citrus attempting to get through in vain. Decent cereal malt structure. Taste - the honey is a bit dominant and very little else gets a word in. Some cereal again though. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture. The finish could be fresher. Overall - not my thing, though I appreciate where other more positive reviews have come from.

Clear golden colour. Hints of honey and hop in the aroma. Pale malt taste with mild hop in the background. Not an unpleasant taste just a weak flavour.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with no life at all. The aroma is weak malt with a hint of honey. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with some honey notes. Can’t say I was impressed. I’m sure it would have been better if it was fresher but it was still 2 months before the BB date.
