Bottle 50 cl. Clear golden with a white head. Very neutral nose, slightly dusty perhaps. Medium body, sweet malts, faint tartness. Subdued bitterness. If you expected french fries flavor or something, you will be disappointed. Very neutral. 271023

Clear golden colour. This does not smell or taste anything like potatoes. It's a simple, decent lager.

Shared with Silke, and Tania, who had apprehensions. Gold with a frothy, white head. Grainy and watery neutral aroma. Taste is mildly bitter. As much as I’m searching, no sign of an potatoes. Medium-bodied, slightly watery texture. A big nothing.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colou rwith average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Grainy and strawy aroma, an earthy touch of potato peel. Taste is slightly grainy and strawy, a touch of starch, potato starch. Nice experiment but rather expressionless; doesn't exhibit much potato flavours contrary to e.g. Neuzeller Spargelbier, with considerably more presence of asparagus aspects.

Fles 50cl thuis. Helles, licht maltig, wat kruidig, aardappelsmaak merkbaar, wat bitters en hoptonen. Niet echt uitgesproken, wel een goede balans. Prima doordrinker. (7-10-2018).
