Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear deep mahogany colour, small head. Heated port aroma. Sweet with full to massive body and well rounded mouthfeel. Very malty with great depth, peppery port with raisins and dark bread. Warming finish with some alcohol bitterness.

Thanks Henrik! Hazy deep amber colour, some off-white head. Aroma is toffee, dried fruits, some raw spirit barrel feels (tequila, or maybe voskaish?). Flavour is caramel, some toffee tones with some dried fruits.

Can at Vasa tasting. Bbe 2025.
Poured dark brown in color.
Orange liqueur, very sweet. Heavy and sweet mouthfeel. Woody and boozy finish. Not for me. Just too boozy.

31st March 2021 Can. A light haze on this fairly reddish amber beer, good bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, soft and very slightly viscous. Decent fine carbonation. Sweet rich malts. There is reasonable creamy sweetness here but also quite a notable higher level of sweetness. Creamy caramel. This is not a sugar bomb barleywine mind, there is some fairly bitter hoppage going on here and some rye tang. Rich ripe fruits make a good middle ground between the sweet and bitter aspects of this one. Touch of ripe red berries. Whispers of wood and cognac. Then that bitter finale. Spicy and bitter with more juicy ripe fruits coming through. Touches of dates and prunes. Long aggressive bitter linger on this one, tongue numbing bitterness. Impressive. Rich and complex and hangs together extremely well considering how sweet and bitter it is. Oh and the 15% abv swings by almost unnoticed. I really wish I had another one of these to age for several years, would love to see what it gets up to.

Can, enormous thanks Henrik! Shared with Ogi & Hrabren. Murky ruby body, off white head. Dry aroma, solid caramelly maltiness, tangerine, lime, and light light alcohol touches, grainy touches, honey. Sweet taste, creamy apricot jam, lightly earthy, citric hops. Creamy. Alcohol? Where? Okay, some warming notes near the end, but this is damn classy.
