Non De Jus! - Cognac BA

Yeast all in suspension; finally small white rim; fully muddy ochre-orange beer. Sweet, alcohol/brandysweet, spirit filling for pralines, or the smell of freshly brandied bisque. Sweet, oranges, brandy, orangeliqueur, white candi sugar. Quite sticky, alcoholburn, alcoholsweet. Not bad, but again: tripel is NOT the ideal beer to be barrel aged.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of yeast esters, orange, malt, cognac booze and oak. Taste has fruity yeast esters, orange, boozy grapes, raisin, cognac, oak, caramel, malt and a little vanilla. Nice, cognac works with a tripel, although it's not very complex.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy amber, white head. Aroma: Malty, nice fruity and bit boozy Cognac notes. Taste: Fruity and bit boozy notes of Cognac, white grapes, dried fruit, accompanied by a malty and bit yeasty background. Some wood too. Moderate sweet and bitter. Long lasting slightly more bittery, fruity and dry-ish finish. Over medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice one for slow sipping on a cold evening.

Bottle. Amber color. Amandelspijs, soft vinous notes, vanilla and dried fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with dried fruit, oak, vanilla and cognac. Floral notes, slightly alcoholic. Decent.

Fles gedeelt met Roelzie1986. Het is een troebel licht bruin bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een cognac achtige geur. De smaak is vol, cognac achtig en houtig.
