In case you didn’t know, Ægir founder Evan Lewis comes from Upstate New York, an area that was at one time the largest grower of hops for brewing in the USA. So what better then to make our version of a New England IPA. Golden and hazy, this unfiltered brew is a blast of citrus and floral flavors. A treat by itself, Upstate IPA also pairs well with ceviche, cheeses, and spicy dishes. Recommended serving temperature 6-8°C.

Can from MENY. Unclear golden/orange body with a big white head that fades
rather fast. Nice fruity aroma of mango and tropical juice. Flavor has mild malt, bread, tropical juice and ripe fruit, decent bitterness. Medium body and rather refreshing fruity aftertaste. Nice and easy refreshing beer, this is more like a nice regular session IPA than anything one-dimensional NEIPA kind of beer, as it has a more likable malty base and refreshing bitterness. This one will probably not turn undrinkable after three weeks.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grapefruit and pine. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, grapefruit and pine needles finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Golden, hazy with a minimal white head. A juicy tropical fruity aroma and hop aroma. Light bitter with a mild tropical fruit end.

Can. Pours a murky orange colour with a small beige head. Aroma of mango, grapefruit, fruity hops, lime, apricot yoghurt, white bread and pinapple. Flavour of pineapple, grapefruit, grass, orange peel and some dry hay in the end. Has a slick and a little soft mouth feel, light body and a light to medium bitterness. Fruity and tasteful.

Fair enough easy drinkable beer. But what can you expect from a 4.7% neipa A bit thin and short ending. Cloudy yellow pour and an ok head Ok intensity in the aroma Mellow carbonation level Some wort, herbal, fruity and decent citric hoppy flavor The hops saves this one [Can from Coop Extra Tune in Sarpsborg, Norway]

Pretty cloudy beige beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty oxidized, little fruity, some dank hops, bit resinous, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some tropical fruits, hoppy, pretty dank, bit musty, onion, nice bitterness, some grapefruit. Aftertaste: good bitterness, fruity, grapefruit, citrus notes, pretty soapy finish though.

Hazy golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma - Malt body with a fruity flavour with bitterness - The hops goes into the finish with fruity hop and bitterness - This was nice
