In case you didn’t know, Ægir founder Evan Lewis comes from Upstate New York, an area that was at one time the largest grower of hops for brewing in the USA. So what better then to make our version of a New England IPA. Golden and hazy, this unfiltered brew is a blast of citrus and floral flavors. A treat by itself, Upstate IPA also pairs well with ceviche, cheeses, and spicy dishes. Recommended serving temperature 6-8°C.

0,33 boks fra Gulating Stavanger, delt med Ovesen etter endt brygging av vår Fjordsteam-øl nr.1: uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Floral aroma og smak med appelsinmarmelade, citrusfrukter, blomstereng og mango. Fruktig bitterhet i avslutningen. Frisk, balansert og meget lettdrikkelig.

330ml bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Bodø. Shared with Liv. Remaining white head to a warm golden body with a slight haze. Fair lacing. Mango and ripe citrus on the nose. Taste of juicy wheat with impacts of orange and grapefruit. Distant fruity bitterness to the ending. Rounded mouth feel. Pretty nice. Summer feel. (Svenskebyen, Bodø, 30.05.2018).

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy dirty orangy color. Aroma is slightly dry grassy, leafs, minerals, wet grass, bark, hay, flowers, moss, pine needles, paper, grain. Taste is harsh foresty, bark, harsh hops, minerals, grass, old leafs, sawdust, alcohol, medicine, soil. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry medical mouthfeel. Meh!
