Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is cocoa, roasted malt, dark chocolate, bit fruity including darkish fruits, coffee, mocha, alcohol. Flavour is sweet with a fairly bitter roasty finish. Full body with warming booze. Big bittersweet and boozy unit, robust flavours, bit abrasive almost. Very good overall.

Bottle at home. Opaque pitch black color, small to average sized brown head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a light sweetish liquor note, roasty notes, dark malts, bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite nice. Quite pleasant.

Bottle. Pitch, oily black, tiny beige head, not too lasting. Nice dry fruits nose, slight roasted notes and hints of chocolate. Medium sweetness in the start, gently roasted, quite some berries, gently sweet. Pretty warming, but not too boozy. Thicker body. Lovely.

33cl bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours pitch black with a modest beige head. Immediate cocoa with other roasty notes following - dark fruits, liqueur, warming alcohol and hints of caramel. Sweet and desserty, but warming and enjoyable.

Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of rich malt, licorice, toast, coffee and dark caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
