33cl Bottle from Speciaalbierwinkel Bodegraven. Murky brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet dark malts, cocoa, some dark fruits/plums, mostly just malty, yeast. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, cocoa, light dusty, light fruity, yeasty, light bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. OK, but quite boring.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a dark chesnut brown with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is dry yeasty with some apple acidity. The flavour is very weak bitter, with lots of acid, yeast and its almost sour. I don’t see this as a dubbel at all. Its refreshing, but could become quite quickly tiresome very quickly.
