September 2011: Shared 500 ml bottle. Orange colour, low white head. Strong fruity aroma, hints of toffee and caramel. High level of carbonation in the mouth. Herbal flavour, a hint of toffee, tolerably well hopped. A little better than I feared.

De 5 Gaarde Orla Klassisk Pilsner. Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

From bottle in Circus tent in Sandnes 03.06.17. Clear golden. Uneven and quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma of malt and 7-UP. Decent and clean taste of malt and continental hops. Malt is lingering on. Medium low bitterness. Good drinkability.

Small white head doesn’t last. Clear amber body with light carbonation. Sugary caramelly aroma with apple notes. Sweetish caramelly earthy taste with raisiny cinnamon notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish cinnamon and caramel aftertaste with spicy dusty notes. It’s quite nice. A bit on the sweet side, but not bad. (0.5l bottle, from Superbrugsen Fredericia.)

Flaske fra Kvickly Nørrebro, på hytta: vakker rødlig kobber med kort offwhite skum. Maltdrevet både i smak og aroma - minner mye om Tuborg Classic og lignende. Karamell pluss snev av appelsinsyrlighet og kjeks.

500 ml bottle at a restaurant somewhere in Sønderborg, Denmark. Clear golden with an off-white head. Light aroma of grain and bread. Flavor is plain, malty, almost no bitterness and a bit metallic. Medium body and little aftertaste. Plain and boring.
