Bottle thanks to Ken at the 0-65% tasting. It pours cloudy deep red-brown with a thick beige head. The nose is light sulphur, roasted malt, caramel, toast, light chocolate, sweet plum and spice. The taste is rather sweet indeed..... toffee, caramel, candy, medicinal aspect, spice, roasted malt, toast, warming alcohol and over-ripe plum with a sticky, sweet finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Good flavour, but too sweet and hot for my liking.

Bottle at the 0-65% Tasting, London - thanks to Ken! Pours red-brown with a creamy, beige head. Nose of moderate, dry fruits, dirt. Hugely sweet flavor with toasty sugars, plums, brown bread, yeast. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky sweet finish rife with ripe fruits, sugary bread. Crazy sweet and perhaps doesn’t have a ton of depth, but it is quite tasty. Certainly not a beer to be rushed and, unfortunately, that’s what we did. Very good, still.

The 0-65 tasting. Four guys, fourteen beers, average abv 12.9%, 65 mins! Opaque brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate, soft. Rich milky malt and a little chocolate. Smooth creamy milk! Tastes somewhat barrel aged. Finishes semi dry. Sumptuous and easy drinking 10% beer!

Bottled. A dark amber, almost brown beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of caramel, alcohol, bread, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and dried dark fruits, as well as hints of spices, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for this.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque brown with a beige head. Overripe dark fruit in the nose with some brown sugars and alcohol. Rich body, lovely pruney with chocolate and sugars and quite some balancing hops. Nice as it is, but will probably come more together in a years time. Glad to have been there for the brew day. 131112
