Draught. Hazy amber colour with a mediumsized white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is spices, some citrus, mild alcohol as well as some sweet malts. Flavour is spices, sweet malts, some ripe fruits and yeasty. Quite boozy, but otherwise actually quite good take on a tripel.

Bottle at home in London - picked up from Kris Wines. Aged about three+ years. Pours lightly hazy gold with a small, creamy white head. The nose has doughy bread, yeasty phenols, ripening citrus, white bread crust. Medium to big sweet flavour with notes of white grape, doughy white bread, light gummy candies, hints of alcohol, wheat. Full bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Warming finish with sticky sugars, light honey, white bread, dough, wheat flakes, straw, biscuits, more white grape, golden raisins. Pretty decent tripel. Drinks well for the strength.

Keg at The Furnace, Derby, Saturday 17th January 2015 Pours hazy gold white rim of bubbles. Woody tinge on nose touch of Brett perhaps or am I marking up the wrong tree (I know little or nothing about this beer) it is very easy going for abv. A little warming but not too hefty, sweetish. A little simplistic and straightforward maybe but I enjoyed it. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5
