8 3 8 4 16Draft at Borefts Beer Festival ‘18. Black with no head. Aroma of cake, chocolate, fudge and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap. Black color with no head. Aroma is pastry, tiramisu, chocolate, very sweet. Taste is liquorice, anis, mint, lots of pastry. Thick oily mouthfeel, flat. Whoa.

Clear dark brown beer, no head, looks very greasy. Aroma: very sweet impression, lots of caramel, vanilla, tonka bean again. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty sweet, caramel, lots of vanilla beans, tonka impression, sugary, nice stuff! Aftertaste: sweet, lots of chocolate, vanilla, caramel, dry touch, coffee, nice roast, sweet finish.

Another of the festival specials, and Borg threw in something to make it a pastry stout. Whatever this mystery ingredient is, it worked wonders. Amazingly thick, sweet, pastry flavors, and very rich. Omnipollo vibes.
