500 ml bottle at Fox and Hounds, Γ…benraa. Dark brown body with a beige head. Quite nice aroma of dark malt, caramel, dark fruit and the Svaneke signature aroma. Pleasant malt flavor, a bit sweet, some fruit, slightly roasted and moderate bitterness. Medium body and decent in aftertaste. Not my favorite beer style, but a decent drinkable version of it.

Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy dark copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt and hops with notes of fruit and caramel. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of roast, fruit and malt. Rather bitter finish. Medium carbonation. OK but nothing revolutionary.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 25.05.2013
Aroma has toffee, caramel and some berries typical to Danish Ales. Flavour is sweet with some hops, caramel, berries, woody notes and nuts. Not the most typical brown ale.

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Unfiltered. Hazy brown colour. Moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of over-ripe red berries and brown malts, hints of caramel. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is malty but not too sweet, notes of caramel and slightly roasted malts, hints of red berries. Piney hops in the aftertaste. Pleasant to drink.
