A high fermentation beer, Jenlain Ambrée is one of the first specialty beers in France and is been brewed since 1922. It owes its success to its inimitable taste stronger than all fashions. Its copper color, its aromas of cooked fruit and caramel make it a beer widely recognized for tasting but also a perfect ally for cooking.

Can, 500ml. My dad brought this when returning from his holiday in France. Light copper color, average white head. Not much smell, just a little bit musty. Taste decent, light bitter, malts and grains. Good carbo and body.

From Metz, France. Mestermű. Pedig nem néztem volna ki belőle. Mivel a tesóm mindig valami tömegtermékkel lep meg külföldről. Ez viszont minden dicséretet megérdemel. A francia sörfőzés remekműve. Íze a jobb belgákat idézi. Kötelezően beszerzendő a jövőben is. Ápropó, mi az a Bière de Garde?

At a tasting, thanks Sachar, clear orange colour with pinkish taints, lagery nose with honey and herbs, strong sugary sweetness with coarse bitterness. Strange and very dissapinting.

Can at a tasting. Thanks Shachar. Clear amber. Grainy aroma with a bit of fruits and caramel. Sweet flavor with fruits, graininiess and some sugariness. Medium-bodied. What the hell?! This tastes like a cheap supermarket strong Lager!
