Das OSw-ALT wurde ursprünglich einmalig von den Weiherer-Mitarbeitern als Geburtstagsgeschenk für Chef OSWALD Kundmüller kreiert. Weil's aber so gut ankam, gibt’s das fränkische Altbier zukünftig für alle - Wortspiel inklusive. UND: Als Bio-Bier.
Altbier ist eine dunkle obergärige Biersorte, die traditionell in Nordrhein-Westfalen/ im Großraum Düsseldorf gebraut wird. Unser tiefbraunes, fränkisches Altbier überzeugt durch sein feines nussig-malziges Aroma, mit einem Hauch Rosine im Geschmack. Sein leichter Körper und seine angenehm leichte Spritzigkeit machen es zu einem sehr süffigen Bier. Ein Bier für Liebhaber dunkler Bierstile mit abgerundetem Charakter.

500ml bottle bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Amber, clear with a quickly dissipating off-white/beige head. Leafy hops in the aroma, a little bit of lemon, light toffee. Taste of sweet and slightly spiced caramel, ending with light hop bitterness. Medium body with slightly heavy carbonation. Very nice, especially for the style.

Bottle online from Raynville. Pours unclear dark orange to copper with beige foam. Aroma: grains, caramel, light herbal. Taste: light to moderate sweet with lighter bitterness, caramel, mild toffee, fruity.Medium body, quite low carbonation.
Bottle, 4.2% ABV. A quite fruity one, with a nice bready lager character and some caramel. Nice by itself, guess it's perfect with some proper food. A bit puzzled by the lager character though. 747414 250814

500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.2%. Moderately hazy brown colour, large to moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of malts, nuts and brown bread. Flavour of malts, caramel and brown bread, slightly sweet, moderate hops in the finish.

Bottle, eight weeks after canning. Pours hazy dark golden, with a big creamy head. Aroma is pilsner malts with bread, caramel and honey, as well as herbal hops with floral notes and Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is grainy malts with bread crust, syrupy notes and honey, as well as floral hops with leafy minerals.

Brown colour with medium head.Aroma is malty with flavour of toffee caramel and hops mild bready and grain but still with a fine taste of hops and malt.

0,5 flaske fra Åsa Landhandleri, delt med Einar: uklar kobbergylden med fint skum. Mild aroma og god smak av malt, urter, brød og karamell. Behagelig bitterhet i avslutningen, som forøvrig er ganske kort.

Bottle. Pours a hazy brown colour with a thin beige head, light malt aroma, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry bitter finish.
