(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, pale golden with a white head. Fresh, aromatic flowery nose. Medium body with a light tartness and a short, dry bitterness. A fresh one. 150907 --- Beer merged from original tick of Glückauf Kellerbier on 28 Jul 2020 at 13:54 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, pale yellow with a rich and lively, white head. Lovely, malty, grainy, malty hayish aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet malts, again a straight hay character with a yeasty , sulphurous touch before a subdued bitterness. Nothing fancy but clean and well made. 280720

Bottle: Hazy, pale golden coloured, small, creamy and lacing white head; fresh yeasty-grainy (almost a bit citrusy) nose with a tinge of aromatic hops; solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, velvet MF; mild, but lingering, spicy bitter finish. All in al a pleasant, spicy Zwickel from GDR...........

Absolut empfehlenswert! Test vom 25.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,13,12,13,13,13 - 12,65

(bottle) Hazy, yellow colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Sweetish yeasty and malty aroma with strong herbal notes and a light barnyard smell. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium body, smooth carbonation. Yeasty and malty taste, slightly worty; medium-dry, slim and yeasty, light-bitter finish.

Draught at BBF06. Refreshing Helles aroma. Good flavour. Not very different from many other German brewpub Helles, but more flavourful. 6 3 7 4 17 Bottle, 4.9%. Weak, but refreshing aroma. Hazy, very pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is mild with a hint of yeast and malt. OK bitterness in finish. Very clean and quite good. 6 3 6 3 15

Sampled draught Berliner Bier-Festival.
Cloudy golden appearance. Dry, creamy and bready with soft, yet stable maltiness and medium bitterness.
