New West Coast (8.5%) • 100 IBU - Double IPA brewed with Canadian 2-Row, Flaked Oats, Carapils and C-15 malts; Hopped with Centennial, Cascade, Chinook and Simcoe Cryo
Brewed with our friends at Steel & Oak (@steelandoak ), with help from Brew Culture (@brewculture founded in New West), and Vessel (@vesselpackagingco_west ), this classic West Coast Style IIPA is inspired by the historical roots that the W represented. At a 8.5% and 100 IBUs, this beer is a throwback to the emerging West Coast IPA scene in the 90’s and 00’s which saw breweries pushing the limits on bitterness and malt balance, using hops that exude punchy grapefruit, pine, resin, and citrus. It’s bright off the nose with floral, pine and orange rind. The bitterness is mouth-coating, balanced, and deceptive - it lingers well after you’ve finished your drink.
