Bottle. Pours dark clear honey with small white head. Aroma is flowers, hay, some ginger and banana. Taste is medium to heavy bitter and light sweet. Body is dry and light oily - almost milky - with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and bitter, with notes of banana, mango, citrus and bubblegum.

Hazy deep amber golden colour with a fine lasting head. Good lacing. Nice hoppy aroma. Very malty and hoppy flavour. Sadly enough a bit thin texture.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, small white head, dry bitter, but not aromatic, nose, some grains detectable; relatively dry bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, almost watery; mild and slightly lingering bitter-hoppy finish. No, not great…

0.5l bottle. This is a light cloudy golden-orange one, lot's of particles floating around in the body and it has a nice heavy lacing and kinda lasting off-white head. The aroma is quite floral with grapefruits, thin citrus, some canned metallic pineapple, light watery caramel and some hint's of unused red matches. Not to exciting, not hoppy but nice enough. It's average+ carbonated and it has thin and almost watery mouthfeel. Flavors also quite floral, like flower-water, I get a mild bitterness, almost on the border pf being pungent and it's quite grassy. A bit disturbing actually, and it's quite lasting. Almost an ecologic-signature that often appears in these brews. En English style ipa that I'm not sure if I really liked. I definitely wont be having this again. 01.08.2012

500 ml bottle. Practically clear, good locking deep golden body with a fine, creamy white head. A bit weak in aroma, some citric fruit, light grassy and some caramel malt. Flavor is a bit sweet, light malty, fruity and moderate bitterness. Quite moderate in flavor and bitterness for an IPA, so this is definitively a more traditional British interpretation of the style and in fact closer to a Premium bitter. So without any expectation of this being an IPA this is actually a very nice and balanced session ale, nothing spectacular going on apart for this being a really easy drinkable ale with a high quality subdued flavor. Goes perfectly well together with most food or as a pure thirst quencher. Not possible to give a higher score than this, but I definitively enjoyed this one.

Biggish offwhite head. Hazy opaque yellow body. Mealy orangey tropical fruit aroma with peppery notes. Dry-sweet orangey fruity taste with mealy papery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish peppery orangey aftertaste with resiny grassy notes. Nice, clean, fresh, drinkable. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy light amber colour with a big frothy off-white head. Fruity and spicy hoppy aroma with grapefruit, some sweet malt and leather. Nice hop-balanced flavour with resin and some tropical fruits. Soft and slick mouthfeel. Bitterness = light+. A light and mild IPA in my opinion.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Verksgt., Stavanger. Organic. ABV is 5%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Moderate but fairly nice fruity / hoppy aroma, notes of citrus, some sweetish malty notes. Light bodied. The flavour is fairly hoppy throughout, some citrussy notes, bitter finish and aftertaste. Quite drinkable.

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours hazy golden with an off-white head. Quite fruity aroma with malt, caramel and a hint of citrus, pine and herbs. Sweet and malty with lightly bitter and citrusy finish. Quite well balanced and a bit refreshing. Not the most exciting IPA, but nice enough.
