Denna Triple IPA är inte helt stiltypisk då vi valt att hålla ner beskan. Alkoholhalten och mängden humle för smak och arom har vi inte minskat på. Ölet är väl utjäst men får en sötma från den höga alkoholhalten. Det ger ett öl med härlig karaktär som för tankarna åt marmelad av söta stenfrukter.

Deep copper colour with lasting head. Aroma of caramel and pine. Nice mouthfeel, very full, fine carbonation. Intensely bittersweet caramel malt, earthy resinous hops. Very well balanced.

Bottled (from Systembolaget Umeå or Luleå). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, sweet fruits, some alcohol, mild toffee and some sweet malts. BBE was 03/2023, so kind of aged, but nicely gone towards a Barley Wine rather than spoilt. Flavour is sweet malts, lots of fruits, tropical fruits, mild ripe fruits and some toffee tones. Alcohol sweetness as well. Kind of gone towards a Barley Wine with age, which is a nice sign for a DIPA in my books.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma, toffeeish with surprisingly little hop aroma. Super rich, sweet and caramelly body, almost a little cloying. Biscuity with a bitter finish. Really an alcohol bomb, and a borderline Barley Wine almost. Hops are mostly just bitter. Quite a brute! 300522

More of everything is not necessary better. But in this case. Oh yeah Clear deep golden and a fine head. Looks good and inviting Solid nice aroma. My nose loved it Balanced sweetness and bitterness for an ipa at this level Also a fine carbonation level. Dangerously easy to drink Well masked alcohol level Grapefruit hoppy, caramel malt, fruity, resinous and pine in the flavor [Bottle from Espen]
