Basic lager. Straw and paper. Pours golden with decent head. A hint of tang on the finish but mostly clean. Can.

Buck can off clearance rack at JR's. Pour is mostly clear light pale with a big foamy head that lasts for a few minutes. Mildly sweet pleasant pale lager nose, comes across rather fresh. Very clean taste on the first swig, good amount of fresh cut hay in here. Easy going, friendly. Very inoffensive, no ill manners in this at all. Nice clean noble hops attitude, very little hop bitterness, if any at all. To say this was a premium lager, is probably a misnomer; this is certainly more like one of the better tasting american macro pale lagers. JMHO, its styled incorrectly. Really enjoying this session, should have picked up a six pack instead of a single. Refreshing, got to the end of the can before I knew it! Nice job NB, a great session brew. Rarely does a craft brewery make a very good plain old pale lager! Could easily drink a few of these and never get tired of the session. If this pale lager is a premium, one of the best 'premium' lagers I've had in a long time.

Optisch klares Gold, ordentlich Perlung, schöner Schaum. In der Nase Getreide, ebenso im Trunk. Im Antrunk etwas plädderich, erinnert mich kurz an die schlimmen Pale Lager. Dann aber ganz bekömmlich. Insgesamt okay.

On tap at New Belgium - Denver Airport, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out some skunk cabbage, light cardboard, and straw. Flavour is dry, with soft bready malt and straw - very washed out but at least clean. Drinkable.

On Tap at Homestead, Meridian. Clear full golden pour with a wispy thin white skin of micro-bubbles. Classic pale soft grainy malts. Smooth and subtle Great session lager.

12oz can. Pale yellow, tight, creamy head. Sweet, grainy aroma with some adjunct grains. Taste is sweet, grainy, creamy feel. Not that bad.

12oz can pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet grain and some grass. Taste is more of the light grain notes and grass touch.

12 oz from a variety pack. Could've sworn I'd rated this before. Oh well, it was free. Aroma smells like Coors Banquet--light grain, lightly bready. Pours clear pale golden with a one finger white head that falls into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is a little sweet with no bitterness, finishing lightly dry. It's like a macro. Maybe a bit better body.

Pours straw yellow with a massive, fluffy white head. Aroma of lager yeast. Taste has pleasant malt, mild sweetness, vague cereal notes. Palate has lingering sweetness, hints of molasses but in a good way. Pretty decent.
