Dark gold with a medium sized white head that left great lacing. Dry and bitter with perfumey, citric and herbal hops. Long finish. Medium body.

Gylden brun klar med hvitt skum. Lukter lett brent karamell og barnål. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Smaker karamell, barnål, blomster og krydder. Middels lang.

On tap at Aloha Beer - Kaka'ako, pours a clear copper with a small beige bead. Aroma reveals bitter piney hops, bready malt, and some resins - balance seems a bit messy. Flavour is more or less the same, with piney and resinous hops, some grapefruit peel, and sweet bready malt. Balance is OK; the bitter grapefruit peel is felt on the finish, with plenty of hops and sweet malt. I'd prefer less malt sweetness but the beer is constructed decently.

12oz can picked up in Kona. Pours clear golden with a small white head, light lacing. Grapefruit, tropical fruit, herbal ,pine resin. Good

Part of a flight at the Brewpub on Queen Street, Honolulu; 13th December 2022. Slight haze in my golden bodied pour, white crown. Citrus front in both the aroma and taste, plenty of fruit like flavours, not much malt action though.

Tap at the brewery. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of citrus and mixed tropical fruits. Medium plus body. Though flavor is intensely fruity it’s strongly bitter. New school West Coast. Delicious.

Draught at the source: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is lots of pine, citrus. Taste is pretty bitter, following through to the aftertaste. Sufficient malty backbone.
