Bottle, 6.5%. Malty aroma, a little cream, then metal. Clear copper colour. Stable tan head. The flavour is quite malty with a feel of anis and a slight hop spiciness. Medium bitterness, slightly rough. OK balanced.

Dark blond colour. Thin lacy head. Aroma has a hint of green apple. A fresh tasting beer at first with a light hop sharpness. It becomes sweet and warming in the finish. Quite a cidery feel to this one.

(Bottle 30 cl) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly sweet, malty aroma. Good, full body with loads of sweet malt. Fresh and fruity with some alcohol in the finish. A clean and solid Bock. Courtesy of jbrus. 040307

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet fruity especially citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and lighter notes of alcohol and metal, leading to a dry bitter end.

Bottle (under licence of bierkoning !): Deep golden coloured, small, stable, egg-shell coloured head, lively carbonation; faint bisquity, a bit cirousy aroma with a tinge of alcohol and honey; sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; bitter-.sweet lingering finish. Quite well balanced and rounded Bock...............

(bottle, received by trade with bierkoning – thanks!) Clear deeep golden colour with a short white foam. Sweet malty and slightly fruity (peach) aroma. Sweet flavour, medium body, moderate carbonation. Sweet malty, slightly toasty and fruity taste; the alcohol comes a bit harsh in the sweetbitter and short finish. Still drinkable.

Light bronze; sweet, peachy, biscuity; touch of sugaryness, and vanilla. Has that straightforward sweetness of some other Dutch boks I've had.

Very much comparable to the HJ Meibock, only difference is that you can taste the pure water of the Alfa source which this beer is made of. This delicious pure taste comes back in all their beers.
